Figure Ice Skating competitions require load of time, hard work, energy and other resources to get prepared for.

In The Netherlands, in order to be allowed to the official Figure Ice Skating competitions organized in line with KNSB rules, you need to:

• be a member of a club which is meeting the requirements of KNSB;
• be qualified to one of the skating categories and prepare corresponding program/s to perform according to the pre-set rules;
• be in possess of KNSB license, allowing to participate in competitions – the license is valid for one season only;
• be submitted to the competition by your club;
• have an official coach to supervise you during the competition.
